    Admission & Registration

We welcome children, ages 2 years through 5 years not enrolled in kindergarten. Applications are accepted throughout the year and admission is on a first come, first served basis. Please check with the Aldrich Office regarding openings. There is a $50.00 enrollment fee or $60.00 for two children. A waiting list is maintained to fill vacancies which occur. State law requires a medical examination prior to school entrance. The medical form is given with the contract. It must be completed before the child may start school. Appointments to talk with the Director and to visit classrooms may be made by calling the office (289-3097). There are "animal free" classrooms available. Simply notify the office administration at registration time.

We are accepting registrations for the 2008 - 2009 school year.  Registration will be on-going, as long as we have openings.

    Admission Procedure

Parents and children are welcome to schedule a tour of Aldrich. Tours are given by the director, assistant director, office manager or a board member. Visiting the program allows both parent/guardian and child to become comfortable with our environment, staff, and schedule. It also gives the school the opportunity to present parents/guardians with a description of the program, set forth the program policies, answer questions, and establish a connection with parent and child before attendance has begun.

To enroll a child at Aldrich Memorial Nursery School parents/guardians must complete an enrollment form and pay a non-refundable enrollment fee of $50 for one child; $60 for two or more children from the same family. An immunization record and health care summary are required before the child begins school.

Aldrich is pleased to offer financial assistance for families who qualify. Applications for this offering are available upon request at the office. Assistance given is based on financial need and also the needs of the child. These scholarships are made available through a special event held each year and an Aldrich fund set up for financial assistance. Other children attend through Child Care Resource and Referral funding. In order to be considered for Aldrich's financial assistance program, applications need to be submitted to the school office by July 1st prior to the school year for which the assistance is needed.

Applications submitted at a later date will be considered as funds allow.
