How to Enroll

We welcome children, ages 2 through 5 years, who are not enrolled in kindergarten. Children will be placed in a class based on their age as of September 1st of that school year. Toilet training is not required for any Aldrich class.

Applicants are accepted beginning in January for the following year, and admission is on a first come, first served basis. We will accept registrations as long as we have openings, and we maintain a waiting list to fill vacancies. Registration for the current school year closes after spring break.

To enroll your child, we will need three items:

In addition, a health care summary completed by a provider must be on file within 30 days of starting school, preferably by the first day of school.  The health care summary is here for download, although we accept other forms used by health care providers as well.

We invite you to make an appointment to tour Aldrich!  A tour is a perfect opportunity to meet some staff members, explore our facility, and learn more about our programs.  To set up a time to talk with our Director or Assistant Director and visit a classroom, please call the office at 507.289.3097 or click here.

Financial Assistance

Aldrich is pleased to offer financial assistance for those families that qualify. Tuition assistance amounts are awarded according to the family's financial situation and the needs of the child.  Priority is given to children who are four or five by September 1st: younger children will be considered under special circumstances.  Awards are given for the two and three day programs.  Recipients in the five morning or five afternoon programs receive an award equivalent to a child in a three day class, and the family is responsible for paying the difference.  Applicants must also determine their eligibility for Families First School Readiness Program and Pathways Early Learning Scholarships.

These scholarships are made available through fundraising events held each year and donations toward financial assistance.  Applications for financial assistance are available at the office or on this website under the Forms tab.  Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis as funds allow.
